- Establish and lead the finance function at HyImpulse during our next growth phase
- Drive the clean-up and professionalization of accounting processes together with our external tax advisors
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial statements (BWA) and annual financial statements (JA)
- Prepare recurring investor reports and financial updates in alignment with the CEO and Interim CFO
- Build and take ownership of the company’s budgeting process, business plan, and financial controlling over time
- Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital, ensuring sustainable financial operations
- Gradually build out all core finance capabilities, including tax, controlling, and financial operations
- Serve as a sparring partner to the CEO and leadership team on strategic and operational finance topics

Key Responsibilities
Basic Qualification
- Completed studies in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a comparable field from a top-tier university
- 5+ years of professional experience in finance roles — ideally in high-growth startups, investment banking, or management consulting
- First leadership experience, with the ambition to grow into a future CFO role
- Strong understanding of accounting, controlling, and financial planning processes
- Highly analytical mindset, excellent Excel / financial modelling skills
- Confident handling of common finance tools and MS Office applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to structure complexity
