- Drive institutional business development initiatives to expand HyImpulse’s market presence and secure new partnerships with agencies, governmental bodies, and research institutions
- Identify, analyse, and develop opportunities for new projects, programs, funding instruments, and long-term contracts within the European and global space sector
- Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with institutional stakeholders, including space agencies (e.g., ESA, DLR, UKSA), government ministries, regulatory bodies, and strategic partners
- Develop and implement strategic business plans aligned with company objectives and technology roadmaps
- Represent HyImpulse at industry events, trade fairs, working groups, and conferences, effectively communicating the company’s value proposition and hybrid rocket technology
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business goals with technical capabilities
- Monitor market trends, policy developments, funding opportunities, and competitor activities to proactively inform business strategy and proposal development

Key Responsibilities
Basic Qualification
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, International Relations, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in business development, institutional relations, government affairs, or project acquisition, preferably within the aerospace, defence, or high-tech sectors
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset
- Experience in the aerospace or NewSpace sector, including understanding of institutional customers (ESA, EU, national agencies and government institutions), is a strong plus
- Fluency in English and German both oral and written. German is obligatory
