Head of Production (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and further development of teams in machining, fiber composites, maintenance, and AIT, including budget responsibility
  • Setup and establishment of production at the new site as well as redesign of the shop floor according to AS9100 standards
  • Planning, organization, and control of production processes, including independent problem-solving and decision-making
  • Responsibility for machines, systems, and operating equipment: maintenance management, calibrations, and definition and procurement of new technologies
  • Warehouse and material management (raw materials, spare parts, hazardous materials, C-parts, standard parts), including inventory management
  • Maintenance of production and booking systems and ensuring correct recording of production tasks
  • Safety and quality responsibility: acting as safety officer, responsibility for 5S, creation of operating instructions and safety data sheets
  • Coordination of internal and external interfaces, including management of external partners and close collaboration with other departments

Basic Qualification

  • Completed degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional and leadership experience in a similar role
  • High level of commitment as well as strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Business-fluent English is an advantage
