- Full accounting support for several entities
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German GAAP)
- Performing account reconciliations and analysis of variances
- Supporting the year-end audit and acting as a contact for auditors
- Liaising with the tax advisor on tax matters
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Fixed asset accounting
- Preparation and posting of customer invoices and intercompany transactions, posting of supplier invoices
- Processing and review of credit card statements
- Support with travel expense accounting
- Managing payment runs and bank postings
- Participation in the implementation of tools and automation solutions
- Handling of special tasks and participation in projects

Key Responsibilities
Basic Qualification
- Commercial training with further qualification as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or a degree with a focus on accounting
- Several years of relevant professional experience in financial accounting / financial statement preparation
- Sound knowledge of HGB, IFRS is an advantage
- Solid knowledge in the areas of VAT and income taxes
- Strong IT and process affinity
- Experience with ERP systems
- Proficiency in MS Office is required
- Enjoyment in shaping processes and taking responsibility
- Structured, independent and team-oriented working style
- Very good German and English language skills
