Composite Production Engineer (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing new production processes for composite parts and carbon structures
  • Collaborating and liaising between research, development, and manufacturing teams to optimize designs with regard to manufacturability
  • Preparing and supporting production using filament winding and related technologies
  • Defining bills of materials (BoMs) and creating detailed production procedures
  • Continuously analyzing and improving existing production processes with regard to efficiency and quality
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and quality requirements

Basic Qualification
  • Completed technical degree in engineering or comparable vocational training
  • Fluent English skills (spoken and written); German skills are an advantage
  • Practical experience with filament winding software (e.g. Taniq or similar)
  • Practical knowledge of working with carbon prepregs and post-processing laminated parts
  • Confident use of CAD software and common MS Office applications
  • Familiarity with aerospace and manufacturing standards such as EN9100, ISO 1101 and ISO 14405

Desired Experience
  • Experience in manufacturing composite materials for the aerospace or automotive industry
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods
