Supply Chain- / Operationsmanager (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers with a focus on technical capability and quality.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Develop and maintain Approved Supplier List (ASL), Monitor supplier performance and lead improvement initiatives
Understand and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOMs
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure supplier components meet design intent
Provide technical input during supplier selection and qualification processes
Support incoming inspection, quality control and supplier qualification processes
Work with QA/QC teams to resolve supplier-related non-conformities
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to reduce lead times and costs
Use data-driven approaches to forecast demand and manage inventory
Drive digitalization and automation initiatives within the supply chain

Basic Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Strong understanding of technical components, materials, and manufacturing processes
Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain analytics tools
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus. German is obligatory

Desired Experience

More than 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment
Experience with quality systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.) and supplier audits
