Supply Chain- / Operationsmanager (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers with a focus on technical capability and quality. 
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, ensuring alignment with company goals. 
  • Develop and maintain Approved Supplier List (ASL), Monitor supplier performance and lead improvement initiatives
  • Understand and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOMs
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure supplier components meet design intent
  • Provide technical input during supplier selection and qualification processes
  • Support incoming inspection, quality control and supplier qualification processes
  • Work with QA/QC teams to resolve supplier-related non-conformities
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to reduce lead times and costs
  • Use data-driven approaches to forecast demand and manage inventory
  • Drive digitalization and automation initiatives within the supply chain
Basic Qualification
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Strong understanding of technical components, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain analytics tools
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus. German is obligatory
Desired Experience
  • More than 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment
  • Experience with quality systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.) and supplier audits
