- Independently design, develop, and document electrical systems for aerospace ground support equipment, test systems, measurement equipment, and industrial control systems
- Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable harnesses, and component libraries using ECAD software
- Select, specify, and validate electrical and electromechanical components, sensors, measurement devices, power supplies, and control hardware.
- Design, wire, assemble, and test control cabinets, power distribution systems, and electrical installations
- Support integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and test equipment
- Perform electrical measurements, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis on systems up to 400 V
- Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, software, and test engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Prepare technical documentation, manufacturing packages, bills of materials (BOMs), and test procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on system reliability, safety, manufacturability, and performance
- Conduct soldering activities, including cable harness assembly, connector termination, PCB assembly, and prototype modifications

Key Responsibilities
Basic Qualification
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification
- Experience in the design and development of electrical systems, industrial equipment, or test and measurement systems.
- Proficiency with ECAD tools such as E3 Series, Capital, EPLAN, or similar.
- Ability to create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical documentation
- Practical experience with control cabinets, power distribution systems, and electrical installations
- Knowledge of PLC systems and basic Siemens PLC programming
- Experience troubleshooting electrical systems up to 400 V
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical standards
- Hands-on experience with wiring, soldering, cable harness manufacturing, and electrical assembly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoke
Desired Experience
- Experience in the aerospace, space, defense, or high-technology industry.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical CAD software such as Siemens NX, or comparable systems
- Experience with test benches, laboratory equipment, instrumentation, data acquisition, and measurement systems
- Knowledge of grounding, bonding, shielding, EMC/EMI protection, and signal integrity principles
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and automation systems
- Experience with electrical safety standards and compliance testing.
- German language skills
- Experience supporting prototype development, system integration, and qualification testing in an engineering environment
